Maintenance and care for your new TABLEware

How do I care for my new Ceramic Tableware?

All tableware items are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and oven safe unless noted otherwise. Please do avoid thermal shock* when using all of your ceramic items and glassware, not just the items from Uniqlay Ceramics.

*Thermal Shock - Rapid change in temperature. For example, taking your plate from the refrigerator and placing it in a heated oven.

Is Uniqlay an environmentally conscious business?

100% yes! Since everything is completely handmade, our energy consumption is minimized to powering the potters wheel and running the kiln.

We receive shipments of clay and raw materials in many boxes, and these boxes are reused as the fillers in your packages!

How are you supporting other women-owned businesses?

Uniqlay lends out our sample set for all BIPOC or immigrant-owned businesses for free to show our support. All of the behind the scenes collaborators that make Uniqlay possible - brand designer, photographers, material suppliers, and florists are all women-owned small businesses with most of them being women of color.

Glaze and Food Safety

All of the glazes used at Uniqlay Ceramics are lead-free and certified non-toxic. All glazes used on tableware are also certified dinnerware-safe glazes produced by the most reputable commercial glaze manufacturers in the US. When will my Order arrive?

Thank you for your support! With the number of current orders, we will be shipping all orders placed after December 25th, 2020 in March 2021.

Is your Studio open to the public for vISITS?

Since our studio serves primarily as a work space, visits are by appointments only right now. We hope to accommodate more visits as we scale up in the future!
